Welcome to Footler. This Privacy Policy explains how Footler processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We collect only the data strictly necessary to operate the app:
• Email address and date of birth (account creation)
• Optional location data (if enabled by the user)
• User-generated content such as photos, videos and messages
• Technical and usage data for app functionality and security
Personal data is processed based on:
• Performance of a contract (account creation and app usage)
• User consent (location data, parental consent for minors)
• Legitimate interests (security, moderation, prevention of abuse)
• Legal obligations under applicable law
Users may upload videos and other content. By uploading content, the user declares and guarantees
that they have obtained all necessary rights and consents, including from any identifiable individuals
appearing in the content.
Footler does not verify consent prior to publication but will promptly remove content upon receiving
a valid complaint or report.
Any person who believes that content published on Footler includes their image or personal data
without consent may request removal by contacting:

Reports can be submitted with or without an account.
Any individual who appears in content published on Footler and believes their image or personal data has been used without consent may request removal at any time. Requests may be submitted even if the individual does not have a Footler account. To request removal, please contact: footler00@gmail.com The request should include: • Identification of the content (link or description) • A description of where the person appears in the content • The reason for the request Footler will review and process valid requests without undue delay.
Footler allows use by children under 13 only with verifiable parental consent.
Parental consent may be obtained via email confirmation.
Accounts for minors may have restricted features, including messaging, location-based features and non-personalised advertising.
Location data is optional and used only to enable proximity-based features. Users may enable or disable location access at any time via device settings. For minors, location features may require explicit parental consent or be disabled by default.
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations. Users may request deletion at any time.
Users have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of their data, as well as the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with the CNPD.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. However, no system is completely secure. Footler uses secure cloud infrastructure provided by Google Firebase to operate the service.
Footler uses Google AdMob to display non-personalised advertisements. Non-personalised ads do not use behavioural profiling or tracking for advertising purposes. These ads may still use limited technical information such as device type, approximate location (not precise), IP address, and basic interaction data solely for ad delivery, security, and fraud prevention. Footler does not use personalised advertising for any users, including minors.
